Note: The Map View was added to version 2.0.0.0 of PIM Control. It is hidden, by default, but can be enabled using the View option in the Layout Editor.
The Map View shows you all of the Events that have occurred for the currently selected PIM, and where the PIM was when each Event occurred. Only Events with the same Use Number are displayed. The BizLocation (see Event Settings and Report Control) is used to lookup the latitude and longitude of the Event. The Manage Locations button lets you define the locations for each of the BizLocations that you plan to use.
 Manage LocationsClick this button to display the Location Manager. The Location Manager lets you use address lookups to establish a latitude and longitude for each BizLocation. | |
 Zoom BarThe Zoom Bar lets you change the level of detail being displayed. The center point of the map (marked with +) is maintained as you zoom in and out. Clicking on one of the Event indicators will automatically center the map at that location.

 Map Area Large markers indicate the beginning of a Mission. Clicking a Mission marker displays all of the data from the PIM that was read during the Mission.
 Small markers indicate the individual Steps that were executed by the Mission.
  Red markers indicate that the Mission or Step returned bad (red) status.
Markers for Events that occur at the same address are displayed offset to the top-right of the previous marker so that you can easily select them with the mouse when zoomed in.

 Map TypeClick this box to select the type of map to display. Types include Normal, Satellite, Hybrid, and Terrain.
