Use this step to define a relationship between two PIMs. The fact that the PIMs are related is logged as an Associate Event in the
Company database. The nature of the association can be specified in the
BizStep report parameter and can be anything you want.
This step allows you to perform "Aggregate" and "Burst" operations on pallets. Use one PIM as a pallet tag. As an individually tagged box is added to the pallet, use the Associate Step with BizStep=Aggregate to notify the database that the box is currently on that pallet. When the pallet reaches it's destination and you remove the box, use the Associate Step with BizStep=Burst to indicate that the box is no longer on the pallet.
When you hold down the Remote button to read multiple PIMs, the first PIM read will be considered the "parent" and each subsequent PIM read is considered a "child". An Associate Event is added to the database for each "parent-child" pair.
When executing a multi-step Mission that contains this step, steps prior to the Associate Step will be executed on the parent PIM and steps after the Associate Step will be executed on the child PIMs.
