Before you can use the USB Reader, you need to install the USB Reader Driver.
The easiest way to install the driver is to let the Getting Started wizard do it for you. Getting Started is run automatically the first time you start PIM Control. It can be run at any other time by selecting "Wizards" from the "Help" menu.
Alternately, you can download and install the driver from
PIM Central. Be sure that the USB Reader is
not connected to your computer. Then:

Log in -or- Create an account if you haven't already (it's free)

Click the Download button

Click the Install Reader Driver button.

Once the driver is installed, insert the USB Reader into any available USB port. You should see a message appear near the bottom-right of the screen announcing that a new device has been found. The message will disappear on its own and the Reader should then be ready to use.
